After two days of beauty rest, Sunday brunch at Swan’s with old friends, afternoon mojitos at the Drake, a sunny walk in Trinity Bellwood’s and a great girlfriend catch-up, I feel almost back to normal. I still have a bathroom covered in sparkles, a pile of heels at the door and a very empty fridge… but there is always tomorrow. I’m still basking in all the fabulousness of LGFW, I’m sure you can all relate.

Denis Gagnon’s SS’12 show was an absolute delight to watch! The presentation began with a short film featuring fresh-faced girls frolicking in foggy woods as Denis sipped champagne and watched from afar. Not something that is easy to pull off unless your name is Denis Gagnon, the images were hauntingly beautiful!

I was in Montreal a few weeks ago and stopped by The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts where they were hosting an extraordinary exhibit showcasing the work and life of designer Jean Paul Gaultier. Contrary to most galleries, they encouraged getting up close and personal with the garments AND taking pictures! Naturally I obliged!

Australian model Andrej Pejic has definitely caused the biggest buzz at LGFW thus far. With his platinum locks and perfect fashion face, it is easy to see why. I ran in to him pre-Bustle rocking an OBJECT for Danier shirt (Stylist George Antonopoulos‘ latest collaboration), perfectly styled with pre-loved stockings, vintage combat boots and a military coat. Gorgeous!

I always enjoy watching Joe Fresh shows. One, because the crowd is in such a fashion tizzy that it’s entertaining (the cue felt a bit like a mosh pit). Two, because only Joe could arrange a catwalk so full of supermodels, the line-up was off the hook! (Heather Marks, Tara Gill, Taryn Davidson, Liisa Winkler, Kirsten Owen, Alana Zimmer, Amanda Laine, Kori Richardson, Kate King, Meghan Collison, and Yasmin Warsame). And three, because he makes very inexpensive clothes desirable (He’s giving ETRO a run for their money with all the prints he showed).
