Pink Tartan reinvents GLAMAZON and all things fab!
Ordinarily, combining neon colours with 70′s elegance and prairie chic would result in a fashion catastrophe beyond repair. However, designer Kimberley Newport-Mimran managed to do just that whilst keeping the entire collection simple, cohesive and incredibly inspiring.
The clean lines and elegant silhouettes allowed breathing space for the explosion of neon
hues; cobalt blue, florescent pink, and acid yellow. The nod to 70′s glam was apparent but
combined with contemporary pieces that created accessible and flattering looks. Silk
pantsuits were styled with safari boyfriend blazers, asymmetrical gowns were shown in
vibrant prints and sheer tiered skirts were paired with tone-on-tone bodysuits.
I am in love with the oversized florescent orange sunnies and the off-white double breasted blazer, they just moved up to the top of my list.
