Denis Gagnon’s SS’12 show was an absolute delight to watch! The presentation began with a short film featuring fresh-faced girls frolicking in foggy woods as Denis sipped champagne and watched from afar. Not something that is easy to pull off unless your name is Denis Gagnon, the images were hauntingly beautiful!
The collection was a playful mix of sweet floral prints and flirty black-tie combined with a signature touch of S&M! The styling was spot on-loved the sox and patent capezio combo and the exposed floral print pockets. Also have my eye on one of the rectangle floral purses-adorable!
I’m not sure if it was because Denis closed fashion week or because all of the models smiled so brightly as they skipped down the runway, but one thing is for sure, the otherwise stone faced crowd of fashionistas was particularly upbeat as they excited the venue! Goes to show how infectious both good clothes and big smiles are!
A pretty perfect way to close this year’s LGFW!
